This page is to help in metric and standard measurement. Thanks go to my sister Susan for sending me this information! If you have anything to add on measurements please let me know and if you find any mistakes I will forward them to my sister.

To convert Celsius to Fahrenheit:
multiply by 9, divide that by 5, and then add 32 to get the Fahrenheit equivalent.

From Celsius to Fahrenheit:
Subtract 32, then multiply that number by 5, and divide by 9 to get the Celsius equivalent.

To go from inches to centimeters:
multiply the inches by 2.54 to get centimeters.

To get centimeters into inches:
multiply the centimeters by 0.39 to get inches.

Here is a general measurement:

Flour 1 cup sifted = 115 grams
Milk 1 cup = 244 grams
Milk 1 quart = 976 grams
Pecans 1 cup chopped = 120 grams
Salt 1 tsp. = 6 grams

Milliliters to Teaspoon, Tablespoon and Cups (Rounded off)
1 ml. = 1/4 tsp.
2 ml = 1/2 tsp.
5 ml = 1 tsp.
7 ml = 1 1/2 tsp.
10 ml = 2 tsp.
15 ml = 1 tbs.
30 ml = 1 fl. oz. or 2 tbs.
45 ml = 3 tbs.
50 ml = 3 tbs.
60 ml = 1/4 cup
75 ml = 1/3 cup
125 ml = 1/2 cup
200 ml = 3/4 cup
250 ml = 1 cup
375 ml = 1 1/2 cups
500 ml = 2 cups
750 ml = 3 cups
875 ml = 3 1/2 cups
.95 liters = 1 quart
1 liters = 1 quart + 1/4 cup
3.8 liters = 1 gallon
These equivalents are rounded off. They're fine for cooking, but I wouldn't try to do industrial chemistry with them!
One milliliter equals .004 cup.
To compute other rounded milliliter equivalents, multiply .004 by the number of milliliters, and the answer is the number of cups you need.

Cups/Quarts/Gallons to Milliliters
1/2 cup = 118 ml.
1 cups = 236 ml.
1 3/4 cups = 413 ml.
2 cups (1 pint) = 472 ml.
4 cups (1 quart)= 946 ml.
4 quarts (1 gallon) = 3785 ml.

U.S. to Metric Pan Sizes
8 x 1 1/2 inches = 20 x 4 cm.
9 x 1 1/2 inches = 23 x 4 cm.
13 x 9 x 3 inches = 33 x 23 x 5 cm.
9 x 5 x 3 inches = 23 x 12.5 x 5 cm.
